I’m a bit of an all or nothing kind of person so drama series are dangerous – if I don’t like the show, I’ll give it the flick in 5 minutes but if I’m a fan… I’ll probably continue watching it until the wee hours of the morning and show up to work with panda eyes the next day, without the cute factor.
To prevent that from happening, I usually stick to movies. The last movie I watched was Spy and I really enjoyed it. True, the plot twists were predictable, certain jokes played on stereotypes a little too much and some scenes were just plain ridiculous. Despite all this, it was still a stellar movie – it’s no second rate Bourne or Bond, it was intentionally outrageous and ridiculous to give us some good comic relief (Melissa McCarthy is hilarious) and lots of eye candy (Jude Law and Rose Byrne are just so pretty)!
