Fun and Frivolous Days to Brighten Your Month!
昨日は文化の日でした。David先生からのお便りです。
Hello everyone! November is here, and it’s not just for studying. Did you know that every month has some really fun and sometimes silly “international days”? These days are a great way to celebrate different things around the world! For example, on November 13th, we celebrate World Kindness Day. This is a special day to remember to be kind to everyone, even strangers. Try to smile at ten different people today! For those who love food, there are many days to enjoy! November 3rd is National Sandwich Day, and November 14th is National Pickle Day. You can also mark November 10th as National Vanilla Cupcake Day—a perfect excuse for a sweet treat after class!
Another interesting and easy day to celebrate is November 21st, which is World Hello Day. The idea is simple: say “Hello” to at least ten people today! For a creative challenge, November 11th is International Origami Day, a perfect time to practice the art of paper folding. And here’s a funny one: November 15th is National Clean Out Your Refrigerator Day! Maybe a very necessary job for all students! These silly days are great for practicing English by talking about them, or just enjoying a moment of fun in your busy student life. We hope you have a fantastic November filled with kindness, delicious food, and lots of “Hellos”!
