Greeting from Dubai

Hello everyone!

I’m enjoying my life in Dubai. What kind of image do you have of Dubai?  Today, let me share what I have seen in Dubai with you. Dubai is the most developed city in the Middle East and a well-known tourist city in the world. From a business perspective, there are a lot of thriving trade and financial sectors in Dubai. I’d like to introduce three aspects of Dubai.

1. Sightseeing

As you may know, there are many of No.1 spots in Dubai. I have already been overwhelmed by these crazy and fantastic places.

  • Burj Khalifa – the tallest tower in the world
  • Burj Al Arab – the highest luxury hotel in the world
  • Dubai Mall – the largest shopping mall in the world
  • Palm Jumeirah – the largest artificial island in the world
  • Dubai International Airport – the largest airport in the world

If you have a chance to come to Dubai in the future, be sure to check these out!
I can assure you that you can find exciting experiences in Dubai. For your reference, let me post two pictures of Burj Khalifa and Palm Julmeirah.

2. Multinational city

To my surprise, 90% of the population of Dubai is composed of expats.
So many people from all over the world, especially from Asian countries, have come to Dubai for seeking new business opportunities.

That’s why English has been the most-used language in Dubai even though the official language in Dubai is Arabic. and there are many kinds of restaurants in Dubai. For example, Arabian, Indian, Chinese, Italian, Filipino, American…
So it’s very important to speak English confidently without being afraid in Dubai.

3. Means of transportation

Dubai also has highly developed means of transportation.
Firstly, Dubai Metro, which is driven automatically, conveyed as many as roughly 191 million passengers during 2016. It has been an indispensable means of transportation in Dubai.
Secondly, Uber is more developed in Dubai than in Tokyo. I think that Uber’s fee in Dubai is much cheaper than that in Tokyo. I usually use Uber when I want to go to places that are far from Metro stations.

How was my introduction of Dubai? Dubai welcomes you anytime and shows wonderful experiences.
I think Dubai will continue to develop in the future.  I would be happy if you could pay attention to Dubai through this article.
